Theatre Honor Society

Olathe South High School participates in an honor society  for theatre. Our students can become a member of the honor society by earning points for participating in plays and musicals at Olathe South, as well as participating in theatre meetings, community service projects, and other theatre activities.

Thespian Points

Current Thespian Point Totals for Troupe #5006

All points are earned for involvement with Thespian Troupe #5006 at Olathe South High School. Most Thespian points are earned in the following ways:

• 8 points - Participation (Cast/Crew/Orchestra) in full length play with Olathe South
• 4 points - Participation (Cast/Crew/Orchestra) in a one-act play with Olathe South
• 1 point per meeting - Attendance at Thespian Meetings (troupe meetings or officer meetings)
• 1 point per day - Thespian Activities (parties, community service, advocacy, work days, fieldtrips to see shows outside the school day, etc)
• 1 point per day - Attendance at Thespian Festivals​​
• TBD - Activities that fall outside the above listed categories are awarded at the discretion of the troupe director.
  

The troupe director has final discretion on how points are earned.
